Terms of Service

Effective date: May 20, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Invoice Uniform, a SaaS product operated by Landmark Software, a United States company.

By creating an account, using the public demo, uploading files, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Invoice Uniform helps users upload PDF and DOCX invoices and convert them into structured, review-ready invoice records.

The service may extract supplier details, invoice numbers, invoice dates, due dates, totals, tax fields, VAT fields, line items, warnings, confidence scores, and other invoice-related information.

2. Accounts and workspaces

To use certain features, you may need to create an account and workspace.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or workspace.

3. Public demo

Invoice Uniform may offer a no-login public demo.

The public demo is for evaluation only. Public demo uploads are used only to generate a preview and are deleted within 24 hours unless the user creates a workspace.

We may limit, block, or restrict public demo usage to prevent abuse, excessive use, automated scraping, or misuse of the service.

4. Human review required

Invoice Uniform uses automated processing and may use AI-assisted extraction.

Extracted invoice data may contain errors, omissions, formatting issues, or incorrect interpretations.

You are responsible for reviewing all results before using them for accounting, tax, payment, compliance, legal, reporting, or business decisions.

Invoice Uniform does not provide accounting, tax, legal, financial, or compliance advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload files you do not have the right to process
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or malicious content
  • Upload malware, viruses, or executable threats
  • Abuse public demo limits
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack the service
  • Use the service for illegal, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes
  • Interfere with the security, performance, or availability of the service

6. Subscriptions and billing

Invoice Uniform may offer free and paid plans.

Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. Plan limits apply to each billing period. Unused monthly invoice credits do not roll over unless expressly stated.

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected plan until canceled.

7. Prices and taxes

Prices are listed in EUR and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Any applicable taxes may be calculated and added at checkout based on the customer’s billing information and applicable law.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription through the billing portal, account settings, or by contacting support.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Customer data

You retain ownership of the files and data you upload to Invoice Uniform.

You grant Invoice Uniform permission to process uploaded files and generated data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

11. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when necessary for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, fails to pay, creates security risk, abuses the service, or uses the service unlawfully.

13. Disclaimers

Invoice Uniform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that extracted data will be complete, accurate, compliant, or suitable for any specific business, tax, accounting, or legal purpose.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invoice Uniform is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, accounting errors, tax errors, payment errors, data loss, or business interruption.
